Instead of the gov.t focusing on national security as priority#1,
given the fact Obama took campaign donations from Hamas for the New
Palestine, and with the fact that we've had 9 attacks over the course
of less than a year period than in the previous 10yrs./since 9/11/01,
why are we more concerned over the logistics of a policy implemented
to protect a person's rights/"Don't Ask-Don't Tell"??!! If you keep

America put Obama on a pedestal, why us Southerners call him "POST
TURTLE": you who support him cheated the election to get him in there,
people are still getting offended about slavery and the K.K.K. when
they never endured it themselves, cops are still being fingerpointed
for the death of children in making arrests, black people in office
are corrupt, and Obama has not brought any order to America or united

Let me tell you: Sarah Palin set Obama up for the OKEY DOKE with her
"DRILL-BABY-DRILL", and Obama played right into it... hook, line, and
sinker. NOW IT'S:

Not to mention, did you look closely to see someone on the edge of the
rig as it was exploding?
I suspect the rig was sabotaged/this was an act of terrorism, and
Obama is a liability to our national security, making us weaker with
his lack of integrity.
Not only does he not have the legal authority to occupy the Office, he
is a confirmed liability to our national security by accepting bribes
from Hamas!!

5) about "DON'T ASK...DON'T TELL", as when Obama has had personal
relations with men, it's hard for his support of repealing a law to
not look like his own personal agenda of that over the military,
especially when gay men were murdered to cover up his sordid past, and
at the very least, it looks like he places the lifestyle choice and
personal identity over the whole group! I don't know where Obama gets
any understanding of military training from, but when you put on a
military uniform, you're no longer: white, black, red, brown, or
yellow --- YOU'RE GREEN! And another point on military unity: you're
neither gay, straight, bisexual, or try-sexual (as in, try anything
sexual), as you're their to serve your country, not your sexual
agenda!!!
6) about job creation: the passage of the financial reform bill
creates 4 giant job increases for government jobs only, when this
could be outsourced as private sector jobs, and THE STIMULUS MONEY IS
STILL UNACCOUNTED FOR, as everyone has been so focused on every other
"CRISIS DU JOUR", and now that the stimulus has finished puffing up
the stock market, it now dipped below $10,000 again!! AND WE STILL
HAVE NO JOB CREATION TO SHOW FOR IT, WITH GA HAVING A STEADY RATE OF
UNEMPLOYMENT OF 10% OR MORE FOR OVER 2YRS. NOW !!!
Oh, and "LET'S NOT PUT A GOOD CRISIS TO WASTE"... the only sector that
has grown in 3yrs. has been government jobs, so maybe if we wouldn't
have wasted money on the stimulus or by expanding the government for
what they failed to do anyway (REGULATE), then maybe we'd have the
money to pay people to clean up the oil spill and charge that to the
tab of BP, to make BP pay back the government. The spill is too big to
hold them to the legislation enacted in the 90's that makes them
solely responsibly for labor and cleanup!!

This is what we call misappropriation at its most egregious abuse, of putting a government-controlled monopoly on the health and lives of all Americans!
Obama's bill strips away states' rights to govern with state sovereignty, it puts the state government in bondage to the federal government, and it takes away the personal sovereignty of the patient being in charge of their care as having the final say about the course of their treatment with testing, therapies, prescriptions, and choice of doctors. What Obama won't bother to tell you, and you wouldn't know this unless you read the bill, is that the first 150pgs. is a repeal of the tax code, in order to raise your taxes, but instead of getting MEDICAID access, the money is shuffled through the federal government to open up Thomson prison! Instead of medical care, you'll be paying higher taxes to feed, clothe, and medicate terrorists with a steady dose of opiates on U.S. soil!
Instead of actually reforming the system by upgrading computers or envisioning a new system altogether, Obama's just trying to make something bigger by expanding MEDICAID: bigger isn't always better, and making MEDICAID cover more people is only exacerbating existing problems-- like pouring new wine into old wine skins!
Pumping more money into government-run programs that are ripping apart at the seams!! As it is, people who have paid their taxes are being denied care, being told that there are too many people already on MEDICAID/who are sapping the system because of their poor health, or that the money is not there because someone ordered 70,000 wheelchairs that never even went to people who actually need them.
We have no money to embark off the beaten path with Obama dragging the rest of the country behind him, like a crack addict on a binge spending our money with no regard to the consequences,

Heroin trafficked from war-torn Afghanistan has killed more than a
million people worldwide in the past decade, the head of Russia's
federal narcotics control agency said on Monday.
"In the first 10 years of this millenium, more than a million people
have died because of Afghan narcotics," Russian news agencies quoted
Viktor Ivanov as saying. "More than 16 million have been affected,
physically and mentally."
Moscow says 30,000 Russians died last year from using Afghan heroin.
The Russian authorities have repeatedly voiced alarm at the growth in
drug trafficking from Afghanistan, blaming current US policies in the
country which focus on netting traffickers rather than producers.
US President Barack Obama made a major policy shift in Afghanistan by
ending a military drive to destroy poppies, believing it alienated the
poorest populations who grew the crops to make money.
Obama's administration has largely avoided crop eradication in favour
of seeking to convince farmers to abandon poppies in favour of other
crops.
War-ravaged Afghanistan is the world's largest producer of heroin. In
2009 the potential gross export value of opium from the country was
2.8 billion dollars, according to the UN drugs agency.

We can't just clap our hands, to shine the light onto certain things,
in order to make a public spectacle, like we're actually doing
something about our national security problems!!
2yrs. into this mess, Obama's Director of National Intelligence makes
Congress nervous... I was nervous 2yrs. ago, before Obama called the
shots, but really nervous in 2006.
Now it seems Obama's nightmares have come true, that his "diplomacy"
has meant little in curtailing terrorist attacks on our country, even
from within:
Most of y'all know that John McCain was instrumental in helping me
with local police problems in GA: wherewith heroin was being
crystallized into methamphetamine, a methopium version, hit the
streets in 10/2006. I would like to think that we've investigated
that, and with Superior Court in charge, the information is where it
needs to be for the benefit of our courts and sound judicial process.
However, it shouldn't have taken 3yrs. for that to reach the ears of
Congress! At that time, I wasn't a lobbyist but a budding journalist.
I turned to Congress when local law enforcement (HCPD/CCPD) failed to
attend to this as a serious matter of national security: by failing to
take witness statements for an individual threatening me, for failing
to follow proper questioning/arrest procedures, and failure to conduct
proper testing of substances. But again, the GBI wouldn't test for
heroin, unless they had been told. *Unless a GBI lab technician had
ever done methamphetamine themselves, they wouldn't have recognized
the differences in the crystal patterns; the lack of refreezing on the
glass, or that while it appeared to be a solid form of meth, when
heated it separated, like sugar does when it melts into tea; this
stuff doesn't refreeze like typical meth. This provides the perfect
high to someone who injects drugs, and this was a major concern of
mine; in that the potential for a person to be dually addicted was
built-in, even with the liquid retaining the heat to where it wouldn't
refreeze, making injection easier, less messy and less watering down,
which meant a stronger high unlike anything most needle addicts get
from self dosing. Meth had typically been cut with various substances
that would make injecting the drug less desirable, in order to
increase a profit, but also causing side effects like what is known as
"trash fever". This methopium blend was engineered to cause dual
addiction. This blending of the two drugs ensured that an addicted
person would only get this particular kind from a designated supplier,
who had opium connections. The drug was even being sold at street
value, to addict the certain populace or frequent buyers, so that
money taken in would be a sure thing and for a certain purpose other
than the sellers' sustenance or drug habit. What was that money going
to be used to buy, from the people providing this drug blend, who
found someone dumb enough/desperate enough to sell it for them???
That is the question that remains today. We can't turn off our
national security mechanisms when it's convenient to do so for
diplomacy!
Karzai visits graves of US fallen

WASHINGTON (AP) - Afghan President Hamid Karzai walked Thursday among the graves of U.S. troops who gave their lives in the war in his country.
Karzai moved slowly among the tombstones at Arlington National Cemetery's Section 60 -- often called "the saddest acre in America," a resting place for military killed in Afghanistan as well as in Iraq, Vietnam, World War II and other conflicts.
He picked up, examined and then laid back down one of the pebbles that have been placed at many of the graves by loved ones and visitors to Section 60. In a visit of roughly 20 minutes, Karzai lingered particularly at a few sites, including graves of two killed in Afghanistan and one in Iraq.
The visiting Afghan leader earlier this week came face-to-face with another painful American sacrifice made in the war in his country. He stopped at Walter Reed Army Medical Center and later spoke emotionally about the wounded troops he saw, some who've had multiple limbs amputated in a war where homemade explosives are the single most deadly insurgent weapon.
Karzai was wrapping up a four-day visit to Washington later Thursday with a televised give-and-take with Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton.
The Obama administration has done its best to repair strained relations with the Afghan leader, its partner in the war against militants in Afghanistan.
Earlier Thursday, Karzai had breakfast with Defense Secretary Robert Gates and other U.S. officials. After a Capitol Hill lunch hosted by Senate Foreign Relations Committee Chairman John Kerry, D-Mass., Karzai was to appear with Clinton at the U.S. Institute of Peace for what was billed as a "moderated discussion." They were expected to talk about the ups and downs of the relationship and the way ahead.
Karzai leaves Washington on Friday. Before heading back to Kabul he is expected to visit Fort Campbell, Ky., home of the 101st Airborne Division, which is going to Afghanistan over the next several weeks, according to U.S. and Afghan officials.
Thursday's events cap a series of meetings aimed at ending months of sniping and frustration over management of the war and fraud surrounding Karzai's re-election last year. Both Obama and Karzai said at the White House on Wednesday that such disagreements are normal with so much at stake.
"There are moments when we speak frankly to each other, and that frankness will only contribute to the strength of the relationship," Karzai said at a joint news conference with Obama.
Despite noting gains that have been made since he ordered thousands of additional U.S. troops into Afghanistan, Obama said the war will get worse before it gets better. He stressed, though, that his plan to begin withdrawing U.S. forces next summer remains on track.
"What I've tried to emphasize is the fact that there is going to be some hard fighting over the next several months," Obama said.
He spoke as the U.S.-led force in Afghanistan readies to push hard into the Taliban's birthplace in Kandahar Province in June. The campaign for Kandahar, already under way in districts outside the city, is expected to be among the bloodiest of the nearly nine-year-old war.
In his meetings with U.S. officials, including Clinton and Gates, Karzai repeatedly has called for the U.S. to respect Afghanistan's sovereignty and has expressed frustration with operations that have killed innocent bystanders.
Karzai also has sought reassurance from Washington that his country will not be abandoned after U.S. forces withdraw. Obama, Clinton and others have obliged, saying America will not cut and run.

Police Informant Takes the Stand in Neal Street Shooting Trial

ATLANTA (FOX 5) – There were big developments Friday in the trial of an Atlanta police officer involved in the Neal Street shooting that left a 92-year-old woman dead. The whistleblower who brought down two Atlanta police officers testified Friday at the trial of a third officer.

"I felt like everybody should step up to the plate, because this man could have stopped this from the beginning," White said.
Tesler is on trial for false imprisonment, violation of oath of office and making a false statement to an investigator.
White said that he was told lie and the Officer J.R. Smith called him in a panic the night Kathryn Johnston was killed.
White said the narcotics officer told him to lie about buying drugs before the raid at Johnston's house.
"The first thing he said was 'We [expletive] and you need to cover our asses,' is exactly what he said. Before he started saying 'You bought at 933 Neal Street,'" White said.
White testified that he was going to lie for the officers, but once he found out Johnston had been killed he started to fear for his own safety.
White told the court he feared Officer Smith, Officer Greg Junnier, Tesler and other Atlanta cops were going to try to frame him. White said all three officers kept calling him to get the story straight.
"I felt like they probably didn't want to take the chance on depending on me before I was able to speak," White said.
White said he immediately started calling other law enforcement agencies and new outlets.
White told jurors he jumped out of an Atlanta police cruiser the day after the shooting and called 911 to report dirty cops who question him and the Johnston shooting.
Officer J.R. Smith is on the prosecution witness list and could be called to testify next week.
Tesler's trial is scheduled to resume Monday.

ATLANTA (MyFOX ATLANTA) – Marchers gathered in Atlanta Friday to remember Kathryn Johnston. It was two years ago to the day that Johnston was killed by Atlanta police during a botched drug raid at her northwest Atlanta home.
The 92-year-old Johnston was killed when narcotics officers knocked down the door at her Neal Street home in 2006, opened fire and killed the elderly woman.
Since then, three former officers were convicted of state and federal charges and the City of Atlanta changed the procedures for controversial "no-knock" warrants.

"Before 11/21 people could go and get arrest warrants on a whim without probable cause. You had narcotics officers that were poorly trained," said Atlanta City Councilman Ivory Lee Young.
One of Johnston's neighbors painted a mural in tribute to Johnston.
"I knew her as a kid, I knew her family and I knew she was innocent. She was like a grandmother, an aunt, a neighbor to many and a lot of people are still trying to heal about it," said neighbor Janssen Robinson.

One need only to think of the informant who
gave APD the wrong address and Ms. Johnston was killed from a botched
drug raid. By making deals with criminals, police are not only
imperiling themselves, but also innocent people!!
With that said, we can't clap our hands, when we feel that a matter
needs our attention! We must be aware that choosing to treat our own
citizens like enemy combatants under the Patriot Act is a recipe for
disaster and delayed information, just as much as it is to extend our
Constitutional rights to enemy combatants by giving them Habeas corpus
and Miranda warnings. They aren't citizens of this country, charged to
protect it, so why are we trusting them to tell us the truth???
Conversely, we can't just clap our hands, and call off the dogs,
so-to-speak at our own whim.... which is what I feel that Obama does
when it comes to matters of national security and with decisions that
imperil us economically...
THE BIGGEST STORY NEGLECTED BY THE MEDIA WITH IMPORTANCE TO THE OIL SPILL IS OBAMA'S TREASON AND SINISTER MOTIVES:
Last night, two more people were arrested for suspected terrorism and
several weeks ago, one trying to cross the border from Canada!
Despite dropping the groundbreaking bombshell story of "Palestinian"
brothers from the Rafah refugee camp in Gaza who donated $33,000 to
Obama's campaign, no big media picked up the story. Jihadis donating
to Obama from Gaza? Could there be a bigger story? Foreign donations
are illegal, but this story was all that and so much more. The
"Palestinian" brothers were proud and vocal of their "love" for Obama.
Their vocal support on behalf of "Palestinians" spoke volumes to
Obama's campaign.
And yet still no media.
But Obama pricked up his ears. He smelled trouble and while no media
asked, he answered anyway. Sen. Obama's campaign immediately scrambled
and contended they had returned the $33,500 in illegal contributions
from Palestinians in Hamas-controlled Gaza, despite the fact that
records do not show that it was returned and the brothers said they
have not received any money. Having gone through all of Obama's
refunds redesignations etc, no refund was made to Osama, Hossam, or
Edwan Monir in the Rafah refugee camp. And still no media.
One of the Gazan brothers, Monir Edwan (identified here), claimed he
bought "Obama for President" T-shirts off Obama's website and then
sold the T-shirts in Gaza for a profit. All purchases on the Barack
Obama website are considered contributions.
The Palestinians allegedly claimed "they were American citizens", so
said Obama's people. They listed their address -- zip code 972
(ironically the area code for Israel) and they input "GA"the state
abbreviation for Georgia (screen shot here) They actually lived in a
Hamas controlled refugee camp. So if Obama's people thought it was
"Georgia" why did they ship the tee shirts to the correct address in
Gaza? Shipping overseas to a Gaza refugee camp is vastly different
than the state next door.
Still no media.
"Some young men even bought the T-shirts for 60 shekel ($17.29), which
is a lot to spend in Gaza on a T-shirt, but that is how much Gazans
like Obama," Edwan claimed in a follow up article in the conservative
websiet WorldNetDaily. And Hamas has publicly endorsed Obama.
And still no media.
Obama's campaign said the Palestinian brothers in the Middle East
made $33,000 in illegal donations to the campaign via the internet.
The donations came in between Sept. 20 and Dec. 6 and virtually all of
the money, about $33,500, was returned by December 6. But the refunds
weren't reported to the Federal Election Commission due to a technical
error, campaign officials said.
If McCain had been involved with something so dark and nefarious,
taking money from Islamic jihad, his candidacy would never withstand

Half a million dollars had been donated from overseas by unidentified
people "not employed".
Digging deeper, all sorts of very bizarre activity jumped at us. Dr
and JJ continued to break it down and pull data from various sources.
We found Rebecca Kurth contributed $3,137.38 to the Obama Campaign in
112 donations, including 34 separate donations recorded in one day,

The more questions we answered the more questions we discovered.
Thousands of Obama's foreign donations ended in cents. The "cents"
did not make sense. And we compared McCain donation documentss to
Obama's. McCain's records are nothing like Obama's. McCain's are so
clean. No cents, all even dollar amounts. But Obama's contained
thousands of strange, odd amounts -- evidence of foreign contributors,
since Americans living overseas would almost uniformly be able to
contribute dollars. Still no media.
Julia Gorin told me a funny story two months ago. Her husband's
co-worker wanted to see what would happen if he tried giving a
contribution to the Obama campaign via a credit card. He used his
Macy's card. The system accepted it. He tried the same with McCain's
campaign, and the transaction wouldn't go through. Now, obviously,
down the line, the Obama transaction would fail as well, but it goes
to the point that there is no safety system in place -- it'll just
accept any and all money, which helps explain how his campaign raised
so much more money than everyone else's.

Good Will, Doodad Pro, Monir Edwan, Hosam Edwan, and Yousef Edwan
Who are "Good Will" and "Doodad Pro"?
They are donors to Barack Obama's campaign.
Who are Monir Edwan and Hosam Edwan and Yousef Edwan?
They, too, are donors to Obama's campaign.
"Good Will" of Austin, Texas donated more than $11,000 to Obama. "Doodad Pro" of Nunda, New York gave $17,130.
Individuals are limited to a per-person $2,300 donation.
Brothers Monir Edwan and Hosam Edwan and Yousef Edwan donated $33,500 to Obama.
Not only did they exceed the per-person federal limit, they aren't Americans. The Edwan brothers are Palestinians in Hamas-controlled Gaza.

The Wall Street Journal reported it spoke to Obama officials who said the donations from three Palestinian brothers were received between Sept. 20 and Dec. 6 last year, and virtually all of the money was returned by Dec. 6. The campaign said, however, the refunds were not reported to the Federal Election Commission due to a technical error.
The Obama camp insisted the remaining $2,500 was refunded Monday and all of the refunds will be reflected soon in an amended report. The campaign said new controls are in place to prevent any similar attempts in the future.
But WND asked two of the brothers - Monir and Hasam Edwan - to respond to the campaign's claims.
"No, we did not receive any money back from the Obama campaign at any time," said Monir Edwan.
Last week, the blog Atlas Shrugs outlined the series of donations made last year by Monir Edwan and Hosam Edwan, totaling $29,521.54. A third brother, Yousef, reportedly gave the campaign about $4,000.
Did Obama return the illegal contributions to the Edwan brothers, as he claims?
Another weird twist--
At the time Klein reported on the illegal contributions from the Palestinian brothers, Daily Kos accused WND of concocting the story.
"It could be true that [donations] were made, but as a part of a deliberate set-up to make Obama look bad. ... Aaron Klein reports from the Israel for WND. ... Again, obviously if an actual illegal donation was actually made it should be returned, but it would be interesting to find out who really made it and why," reads an article on the Daily Kos site.
"By the way, Aaron Klein is clearly an [sic] conservative anti-Obama reporter for the ultra-right-wing WorldNetDaily," the site contends.
Crazy.
Michael Isikoff, liberal anti-McCain reporter for the ultra-left-wing Newsweek, has a piece about illegal contributions to Obama's campaign.
The Obama campaign has shattered all fund-raising records, raking in $458 million so far, with about half the bounty coming from donors who contribute $200 or less. Aides say that's an illustration of a truly democratic campaign. To critics, though, it can be an invitation for fraud and illegal foreign cash because donors giving individual sums of $200 or less don't have to be publicly reported.
Regarding "Good Will" and "Doodad Pro"--
Obama spokesman Ben LaBolt said the campaign has no idea who the individuals are and has returned all the donations, using the credit-card numbers they gave to the campaign. (In a similar case earlier this year, the campaign returned $33,000 to two Palestinian brothers in the Gaza Strip who had bought T shirts in bulk from the campaign's online store. They had listed their address as "Ga.," which the campaign took to mean Georgia rather than Gaza.) "While no organization is completely protected from Internet fraud, we will continue to review our fund-raising procedures," LaBolt said.
Oh, that's reassuring. The Obama campaign will continue to review their fundraising procedures.
In the meantime, Obama's $458 million war chest will bankroll his sleazy/deceptive/lying ads to flood radio and TV over the next 30 days.
Obama promises to change Washington. He promises transparency, yet Obama has refused to share information about his small donors.
This summer, watchdog groups asked both campaigns to share more information about its small donors. The McCain campaign agreed; the Obama campaign did not.
Bottom line: Barack Obama is not the person he claims to be. He's no agent of change.
If he wants to eliminate the current cloud of corruption hanging over his fundraising practices, Obama should follow McCain's lead and volunteer information about his thousands and thousands of small donors.
However, volunteering that information may be moot at this point.

U.K. Bans Doctor Who Linked Autism to Vaccine

A U.K. medical regulator revoked the license of the doctor who first suggested a link between vaccines and autism and spurred a long-running, heated debate over the safety of vaccines.
Ending a nearly three-year hearing, Britain's General Medical Council found Andrew Wakefield guilty of "serious professional misconduct" in the way he carried out his research in the late 1990s. The council struck his name from the U.K.'s medical register.
The same body in January concluded that Dr. Wakefield's research was flawed, saying that he had presented his work in an "irresponsible and dishonest" way and shown "callous disregard" for the children in his study.

Shortly after that January ruling, the British medical journal that first published Dr. Wakefield's study, the Lancet, retracted it. His central claim—that there could be a link between autism and the measles, mumps and rubella vaccine—has largely been discredited.
Dr. Wakefield couldn't immediately be reached to comment Monday. In an interview with the British Broadcasting Corp. on Monday, he said he would appeal the GMC's decision. "Efforts to discredit and silence me through the GMC process have provided a screen to shield the government from exposure on the MMR vaccine scandal," Dr. Wakefield said, according to the BBC.
Dr. Wakefield's 1998 study of 12 children triggered worry among parents world-wide that the MMR vaccine caused autism. Many decided not to immunize their children, leading to outbreaks of measles in some Western countries. As many as 2.1% of children in the U.S. weren't immunized with the MMR vaccine in 2000, up from 0.77% in 1995, according to a 2008 study published in Pediatrics.
A 2004 statistical review of existing epidemiological studies by the Institute of Medicine, a respected nonprofit organization in the U.S., concluded that there was no causal link between the MMR vaccine and autism. Some autism activist groups, however, continue to advocate against vaccinations for children, despite the lack of scientific evidence for such a link.
In an eight-page decision released Monday, the GMC found Dr. Wakefield guilty of numerous cases of misconduct in his research, including: taking blood samples from children during a birthday party without approval from the necessary ethics committee and paying them £5 ($7.24) as a reward; improperly managing and accounting for funds he received to carry out his research; treating the children in his research unethically by causing them to undergo procedures such as lumbar punctures that weren't clinically necessary; and failing to disclose conflicts of interest to the Lancet, including that he received research funding from a lawyer representing parents who believed the MMR shot had harmed their children.
In the 1998 paper, Dr. Wakefield and his colleagues described 12 "previously normal" children who had developed gastrointestinal problems and developmental disorders including autism. The paper concluded that "in most cases, onset of symptoms was after measles, mumps, and rubella immunization. Further investigations are needed to examine this syndrome and its possible relation to this vaccine."

The stem cells from aborted bodies used to mass manufacture vaccines or to treat diabetes, MS, or AIDS have not been successful; however, aborted stem cells have been proven to cause rejection as manifesting in intestinal inflammation, autism in a certain percentage of vulnerable people, or causing cancer!
The government does not care if aborted stem cells give you autism or cancer, as long as they get their money back by turning you into a cash cow for insurance companies with chemotherapy treatments, which you may or may not survive. DMSO has been show to cure cancer, but because the government can't patent it and make money off of it, they'd rather see you pay up and die from chemo! There is no reason to massively fund stem cell research when the risks outweigh the benefits to the quality of life of the patient. It is unethical to say the least, and it is despicable for our government to think they can get a cut off of deciding who lives and who dies!!

To quote Andrew Weil, an actual M.D., (not Obama who is a Harvard-lawyer-suck@ss-post-turtle President who knows nothing about health care): "I now understand that when you lose your health, nothing else that you have matters. All you can think about is being well again... I have long taught that health is an individual responsibility. It is up to you to learn how to maintain it and protect your body's potential for self-healing as you go through life. No doctors, no treatments, no system can do this for you or force you to do it on your own."
In other words, Obama is not going to show up every day at your house to make you shoot a game of one-on-one! Mrs. Obama with her fanatical diet that she has her own daughters on, or any fad diet is no substitute for good nutrition and won't make up for the fact that you don't exercise 30min.-1hr. daily.
Translation: Obama is not the captain of my vessel! I am, and I make the decisions regarding my health, and ultimately I control the costs. What we need is not a political solution or a taxpayer-funded Obama pet project for Thomson prison, but something taking into account a person's body has the ability to heal itself. 80% of people worldwide use nutritional/natural therapy, something that is neglected in our society that depends on commercialized food production. While everyone else uses natural foods and plants as a form of medicine and treatment, as this is the Native American way, the old ways long lost in a blur of technology and the modern world. This knowledge is buried by what we're told is relevant and cutting edge.
This kind of medicine is available to you at low-cost, and it has been around for centuries! Ever since the Civil Rights movement, people have had access to a public library and now computer archives to be able to educate themselves about nutrition and vitamins/supplements.
I ask you: why should we continue to pay the federal government any more money to do what they've failed to do anyway, which is regulate the monopolies and unethical practices of health insurance companies?? Why should they? Their incentive is to do nothing to hinder the billions of dollars that Americans spend on prescription pills, even though it is equivalent to licensed drug-pushing, and the government wants even more of that money, through lobbying and no safer drug regulations....
instead of going to an illegal dealer, people now exploit the medical community and vice versa, with the medical community prescribing things that people really don't need and people serving their addictions through insurance co-pays.
We need to permit states to be in charge of health care, on a local basis and permit them to govern accordingly!
| WHY HEALTH CARE SHOULD BE A STATE-RUN DELEGATED DUTY OVERSEEN BY THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT, NOT AN OBAMA HEALTH CZAR, DHS-RAN, all-powerful OZ PROGRAM: *We need to clarify what seems to be lost by the Obama agenda, as the Declaration of Independence means that no one can deprive you of your inalienable rights to life, liberty, or the pursuit of happiness. While the intention of our Constitution is "to promote the general Welfare", promoting is a lot different than providing for the general Welfare. We are to encourage and empower people to be independent and to care for themselves, not provide for their basic needs and fail to teach them how to care for themselves. Losing your health restricts your freedom just as much as incarceration, but Obama's bill puts the federal government as the final say of who lives or dies and deprives us of our basic right to health care choices by depriving us economically through outrageous taxes and stealing what we've worked so hard to earn. *Even non-profit health organizations will be taken down by costs, take Atlanta's Grady for example. We have to be able to provide services to larger populations in certain areas, something that federally-controlled funding won't allow for, and where Grady would pick up the slack, Grady will do more than buckle under the costs that will go up with these tax increases! *States have done an excellent job of providing for hospice care and emergency trauma care, but our life span is really only 60yrs. in the face of chronic disease and costs to state budgets. We're doing better at managed care for chronic disease, but we're not curing or healing it. Those like me, who have lived to 30, may feel like we're really 50 as we've lived half our life at current life expectancy. States spend too much on chronic disease treatments when we're ranked 29th for infant mortality, due to not enough emphasis on nutrition and prevention of STD's. The federal government can't decide how to appropriate state funds, according to the needs of the people, which is what state government is for anyway! *We have good outpatient services, we're good with replacing physical parts on the body, and we're good on saving babies from complicated birth. We also have enhanced imaging techniques, some available to us by use of state grants. For all that we do right with our state governing, we need to govern ourselves better! *The federal government isn't going to do that, no amount of money we give them will enlist them to be our personal trainer and nutritionist. No amount of money we give them will educate us about our bodies, and educated patients live longer, are healthier and productive taxpayers, and they don't pose a liability on state budgets. (For example, I have not had health insurance for right at 7yrs., so Georgia has saved $53,200 in not having to pay my insurance premiums. In essence, even though the year that I was incarcerated cost them $60,000 for an unconstitutional arrest, I had paid them for my stay between 2 county jails by not asking them to pay for my health care, because I learned to care for myself. By next year, me and the state of Georgia will be even, and I expect them to stay off my back for living like a pauper for 3yrs. as a result of it! Technically, since I've paid in taxes for 13yrs. of my adult life and not gotten state aid or welfare, they owe me for consulting my wisdom and me lobbying to save them money! Yet that is what we do as citizens, we make things better, and we leave a legacy for others to follow.) *States need to set the rules for costs of treatments, services, and drugs based on a federal standard. So far, Obama's legislation is hopeful at best, and fails to specifically standardize medical care. It is too much like wishful thinking than it is practically applied law. The federal government should permit insurance to be sold across state lines, and should not impinge upon peoples' rights to allow them to treat themselves with natural therapies by forcing them to pay for insurance they don't want or won't use. *States need to be in control of studies and pharmacy licensing, and hold companies and doctors accountable. Some scream about malpractice costs rising to where 50% of doctors will leave the profession, but no industry, especially one in the name of health should be so greedy as to keep people just sick enough that they need pills, but just well enough to keep working just to keep buying those pills. The state has the power to step in and keep its citizens from becoming nothing but functional addicts in a failed medical care system. *The federal government should not be in charge of ordering if people should or shouldn't have mammograms. If you have no family history of breast or lung cancer, mammograms have been shown to actually cause cancer, and so have CT scans! The government shouldn't order you to have a risky test that could cause cancer, just so they can make money off of you being sick!! No government entity should legally enforce unnecessary, inconclusive testing, or treatments that cause more stress and anxiety, which are only used to prevent malpractice, not diagnose or develop treatments! *The federal government is already allowing drugs to be prescribed without the proper studies, and if this was regulated by states, this would be a lot safer! | WHY HEALTH CARE COSTS ARE SO HIGH NOW AND HOW WE CAN BRING COSTS DOWN: *We don't really have a health-care system now, we have a dysfunctional disease management system which employs insurance agents as middlemen to be debt managers of our health care debtor system, which instead of having actual insurance, we have collection agencies who wheel and deal and give us special deals for paying their wages and monthly rent. *The patient-doctor relationship is strained now because of health insurance companies and pharmaceuticals in that selection of treatment/reimbursement policies are dictated by them and not solely by the judgment or experience of the practitioner. Essentially, when someone goes to see a doctor, they are employing and paying people they never physically see: an insurance agent, a pharmaceutical representative, and someone who keys in their paperwork that isn't actually their doctor. We can simplify paperwork, but what Obama wants to do doesn't go far enough. He doesn't even have the standardized forms or what will go on them yet, but according to him and Harry Reid, they want to retro-actively tax you for these services that you haven't even used yet. *We have to shift our goal to not being one of disease intervention, but to health promotion and disease prevention. While we may be nailing down different strains of HPV, cancer, or some other disease, it would be better for people to maintain wellness throughout their lives rather than live with chronic disease, which make up 75%-80% of all health care costs! It would certainly be better to be well and prevent disease and viruses from mutating than to continue in constant crisis mode. *We have got to realize that the root of all chronic disease that causes cancer, R.A., and other costly chronic disease can be prevented and managed with nutrition and exercise, and lifestyle choices, which are all factors that are controlled by the patient, not the doctor and not the treatments or therapies. 1 in 5 people are disabled by arthritis, the leading cause of disability. Our obesity epidemic is the worst in the whole world, and is the precursor to chronic diseases that are the most expensive to manage. We spend $5 billion on treatment of cancer to maybe live 5yrs. more, and then after 5yrs. we're even luckier to live just a little longer. We're spending all that money on treatment and not prevention!! *We can't just prescribe pills to treat symptoms without solving what's causing the disease, just medicating without really curing disease. *We're presently incubating the next generation of diabetics in utero... if mothers have high blood sugar and excess weight during pregnancy, a genetic proclivity is created where a child will be diagnosed with diabetes by age 7 !!! This causes a Type 2 generation with a two-fold problem of both diabetes and heart disease, with it setting in 10-15yrs. sooner, increased blindness, kidney disease, and limb amputation. *70% of people who have health insurance still file for bankruptcy, so we're paying out all that money for nothing for insurance!! Health insurance is the problem and not the solution to bringing costs down. Health insurance problems have caused 90% of people to have no money in their savings, and 50% have quit spending!! These health insurance costs have cut a growing economy in half!! Add an oil spill on top, and you have a sure recipe for a modern day Depression, the likes of which will become like what we've seen of the 30's and 40's, the next decade will be the most disease ridden and unhealthiest we've ever seen! *Health insurance companies also hurt the growth of companies. Ever wonder why a STARBUCKS is so expensive?? Guess what? I don't even drink that anymore! The chairman of STARBUCKS spends $200 million to insure employees, more than the company spends on coffee! Small businesses have been telling people over the past 5yrs. that they don't have the money to fund a group plan because of the taxes, and small business owners have told employees to buy coverage individually off the internet or get family plans. *Health insurance shouldn't be profit-driven, but if we spend just 16% of our GDP correctly, we can get the health care we deserve without Obama's plan that still has insurance for profit, medicine in for-profit mode, and the legislation does not nail down how to spend tax dollars correctly to bring down inflated costs from waste, fraud, and abusive practices of government or medicine! *If we reform malpractice laws, we can reduce cost 10%. All the new legislation does is make the government the lawyer in malpractice suits, and puts a limit on plans and what amounts that you can sue for regarding malpractice, which does little to encourage ethical practices. It's like a slap on the wrist. *People can't live without consequences: with poor health choices, disease is sure to follow, along with the costs associated with poor health! Doctors can't wave a magic wand to undo the damage you do to yourself, and we're too reliant on their care rather than caring for ourselves. |

White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel is fond of saying, “You don’t ever want a crisis to go to waste; it’s an opportunity to do important things that you would otherwise avoid.” Well, the Obama Administration certainly has not let the British Petroleum (BP) Deepwater Horizon oil rig crisis go to waste, using it as a smokescreen to silently assault and further diminish American citizens’ personal freedom.
While the nation has its eyes and ears focused on the blame game ping-pong match between President Obama and BP top brass, President Obama on Thursday, June 10, quietly announced a new Executive Order establishing the “National Prevention, Health Promotion, and Public Health Council.”

Claiming the “authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America,” President Obama has truly gone off the deep end this time in his most atrocious attempt to date to control every aspect of Americans’ lives.
According to Sec. 5. of the Executive Order that details the President’s “National Prevention and Health Promotion Strategy,” the Council will be charged with carrying out “lifestyle behavior modification” among American citizens that do not exhibit “healthy behavior.”
TOO BAD OBAMA IS SO APT TO GIVE PEOPLE ADVICE AS 'FORMER SMOKER' (OF WHAT, THIS TIME??!) AND WHO IS JUST CLEARING A HURDLE OF REGRESSING BACK INTO SMOKING CIGARETTES DURING THE 2008 CAMPAIGN:
The President’s desired lifestyle behavior modifications focus on:
- smoking cessation;
- proper nutrition;
- appropriate exercise;
- mental health;
- behavioral health;
- sedentary behavior;
- substance-use disorder; and
- domestic violence screenings.
Making matters even worse, if that is even possible at this point, President Obama will create an “Advisory Group” composed of experts hand-picked from the public health field and various other areas of expertise “outside the Federal Government.”
Let’s consider who the President has sought advice and mentoring from in the past:
- Rev. Jeremiah Wright, who the Anti-Defamation League calls a “Messenger of Intolerance,” and
- Bill Ayers, leader of the 1960′s domestic terrorist group ”Weatherman” that was “responsible for 30 bombings aimed at destroying the defense and security infrastructures of the U.S.”
Now, President Obama is going to seek medical advisors who will be charged with modifying lifestyles and behaviors of those citizens he deems unhealthy? “Paging Dr. Kevorkian! You’re wanted in the White House STAT by President Obama!”
Whether you are a child, a parent, a worker, or retired, the President’s approximately 25-member “Advisory Group” will soon be present in every aspect of Americans’ lives, as the Executive Order prescribes. Specifically, our new so-called lifestyle behavior modification advisors will be actively carrying out the President’s orders in:
- worksite health promotion;
- community services, including community health centers;
- preventive medicine;
- health coaching;
- public health education;
- geriatrics; and
- rehabilitation medicine.
President Obama’s sweeping plan to enforce “lifestyle behavior modification” is chock full of open-ended target areas, especially when it comes to issues of “mental” and “behavioral” health, “proper nutrition,” “sedentary behavior,” and “appropriate exercise.” The President’s Executive Order is a blatant and forceful attempt to adjust the way Americans young and old think, behave, eat, drink and whatever else free will used to entitle our nation’s citizens to enjoy as prescribed by the Founding Fathers.
