" THE SYNTHESIS " 1-31-2010 EDITION

" THE SYNTHESIS " 1-31-2010 EDITION
by: AJA BROOKS, OFFICIAL INVESTIGATIVE JOURNALISM VOLUNTEER FOR THE BLACK RIBBON OFFENSIVE CAMPAIGN AGAINST MEDIA BIAS AND GA LOBBYIST FOR "LIFE AND LIBERTY"

WHAT IS "THE SYNTHESIS"? The synthesis is an objective analysis of political journalism, an assessment of the perception of the facts, a political digest for the common man. DISCLAIMER: IF YOU'RE IGNORANT, A HYPOCRITE, OR NOT A FAN OF RAW JOURNALISM, THIS MAY NOT BE FOR YOU, AND YOU SHOULD STOP READING NOW AND JUST DELETE THIS, NOT SEND ME AN EMAIL BACK WHINING ABOUT IT, BECAUSE YOU'RE JUST GOING TO GET IT FORWARDED BACK TO YOUR OWN BOX.

(A SHORT SUMMARY OF THE BEST POINTS OF 3HRS. OF SUNDAY MORNING POLITICAL SHOWS)

(TELL US SOMETHING WE DON'T KNOW, AND DIDN'T KNOW WOULD HAPPEN IF HE TOOK OFFICE THAT HE WAS NEVER ENTITLED TO HOLD AS A NON-CITIZEN.)

(I MEAN REALLY, IS THERE ANY MORE GLOSS THAT HE CAN PUT ON HERE FOR HOW POOR OF A JOB HE'S BEEN DOING??)

(IN LIGHT OF JESSE JACKSON'S INFAMOUS QUOTE "I WANT TO CUT HIS NUTS OFF!")

(NEEDLESS TO SAY, I THOUGHT THAT THE STATE OF THE UNION WASN'T TOO HARD TO FIGURE OUT ON MY OWN, OR FOR ANYONE ELSE FOR THAT MATTER!) LET ME FIRST START BY SAYING THAT THIS EDITION WILL BE A LITTLE DIFFERENT. ONLY SIMPLY BECAUSE I DIDN'T WANT TO HEAR 3 HRS. OF POLITICAL SPIN ON "THE STATE OF THE UNION" ADDRESS. THEREFORE, ALLOW ME TO GET STARTED BY SAYING THAT THIS LOOKED LIKE THE CORONATION CEREMONY OF AN UNRIGHTEOUS KING:

(YUP -- HERE'S YER SIGN....) AND:

I couldn't bear the chagrin of "The State of the Union": Obama addressed his subjects by so odiously cajoling critics, to the open beaks gasping on Twitter, along with his brazen disregard of failing to respect the highest Court of our land, using this as an opportunity to shirk their rulings in an attempt to usurp their power from representing the people over the current controversy of his sure lack of citizenship! SO, I really felt like this was the moment of truth, like when the Great Oz is exposed for just being a mere mortal man and not a god:

The great and powerful, crowned "King Nothing" has spoken! From this day forth, I hereby declare that Obama will be known and referred to as only "King Nothing"! SILENCE !! I'M TALKING!! KING NOTHING HAS SPOKEN ~~~~!

Keeping this in mind, I wasn't going to hear the same thing for 3hrs. straight, on a Sunday no less. To top it off, I really began to think that since Obama's court briefings were due on 1-19-2010, that the address was bumped up to January as to not compete with "Lost" or "American Idol". We want to make sure that everyone isn't distracted by other entertainment. Maybe since Obama is so good himself at political theater, that this is the one thing that I totally give him credit for, making this address into nothing but pomp and circumstance:

"MEET THE PRESS" with David Gregory

David Gregory allows everyone to jockey the economic concerns.

David Brooks: thinks that people do believe that government can work, but they just don't believe that it will after this address.

(The Republican Party is criticized for being the "NO" party, so how about I change that right now - how about this instead: "YOUR WAY ISN'T GOING TO WORK" PARTY.)

The question is then broached that since consumer spending has been the mechanism driving our economy, how do we fix the economy when the consumer spending confidence is down/what do we do??

(No one has any solutions that I see, from the media that is.)

David Gregory brings up the Underwear Bomber.

Guests: it's just that Eric Holder didn't consult KING NOTHING first when deciding that the Terror Trials would be held in N.Y., and that Mayor Bloomberg was like "Thanks, but NO THANKS!"

David Gregory says that Repubs are saying that Dems are being soft on terrorism.

Guests: say that in hard economic times, that it's equally not popular to spend money on defense of people who aren't citizens who possess any Constitutional rights, to be forced to provide for their defense lawyers.

I DON'T KNOW ABOUT HOW YOU FEEL, BUT I KNOW HOW I FEEL:
AFTER BEING REMINDED OF GROUND ZERO, I DEFINITELY THINK THAT WITH THIS:

"Meet the Press" REWIND TO 1991 BUDGET AND BIPARTISANSHIP:

Dole says that they should bring everything to the table, transparency and accountability. The other guest says that in preparation, both sides determine what to bring to the table prior to meeting, so that there's no exchange of discussion or ideas, but two sides pitted against each other. The female guest blames the White House for this, that the White House blocked these kinds of open discussion and negotiations available to the American people.

The end result of the 1991 Budget and "NO NEW TAXES" slogan was that Bush broke his pledge.

David Gregory ends "Meet the Press" by extending an invitation to Reid and McConnell, for the two sides to discuss Public Option before the American people in a civilized way, since Obama has failed to hold negotiations between the two sides on C-SPAN.

(I would really love to explain how Reid has failed to mention that Public Option is just a code word to address "The Negro Problem" in our society: Public Option bills will kill black people: how can you support that? People don't even realize that stem cells harvested from aborted bodies are rejected causing tumors and other unwanted side effects. Please tell me why a black person would want to get this treatment for diabetes and AIDS and then end up with cancer to boot and not be healed but sickened even worse with another disease??!

IT HAS BEEN SCIENTIFICALLY PROVEN THAT ONLY STEM CELLS GROWN IN A TEST TUBE FROM THE INJECTEE DON'T CAUSE REJECTION OR HARMFUL SIDE EFFECTS!!

We can't genetically exploit blacks for research companies to make a profit, and for the government to profit off of this as an insurance agent of 31 million+ who could be affected negatively by a procedure in this way of providing it under the premise when it's HEALTH CARE when IT'S NOT!! Stem cell research should only be approved in a limited way for organ regeneration, and this doesn't require funding abortion to treat chronic disease, especially when stem cells from aborted bodies are rejected.

WE DON'T NEED 3 BILLS TO LEGISLATE STUPIDITY BECAUSE PEOPLE DON'T UNDERSTAND BIOLOGY OR GENETICS: H.R.3200,1200, AND 3590.)

THEN I HAD A CHOICE:

WAS IT TO WATCH THEM.....

OR WAS IT TO WATCH BARBARA WALTERS DO A TONAL ROTER ROOTER ON MA'S NEW SENATOR SCOTT BROWN?
THOUGH I HAVE A SERIOUS AVERSION FOR "THE VIEW", I THOUGHT THE INTERVIEW WITH BROWN WOULD BE MORE INTERESTING THAN THIS SUPPOSED 'TINGLING LEG SYNDROME' THAT HAS EFFECTED OUR MEDIA FOR THE PAST 2 YRS., BUT IS STARTING TO WEAR OFF, ALONG WITH OBAMA'S WELCOME MAT:

SO I WATCH WALTERS BEGIN HER SKEWERING OF SCOTT BROWN BY HER SAYING "YOU WERE CAUGHT SHOPLIFTING AT 12, AND YOU POSED ALMOST NUDE FOR COSMO AT 22 !!"

(AND I CAN'T HELP BUT THINK THAT IF IT WORKED FOR SCOTT BROWN, THEN IT CAN DEFINITELY WORK FOR LEVI JOHNSTON!!

CERTAINLY SEEING LEVI JOHNSTON IN A FIG LEAF IS MORE APPEALING TO ME PERSONALLY THAN READING A BOOK LOADED WITH A LOT OF: "DON'T YA KNOW?" "I'M A HOCKEY MOM WITH LIPSTICK" AND "YOU BETCHA!" --- but then again more than 2 million bought Palin's book for less than full price at $5, and more than 65 million supposedly voted for Obama, so it's hard for me to subscribe to the ever-changing landscape of what is entertaining political theater to everyone else.)

Scott Brown: says that government must be transparent, good government, that doesn't work behind closed doors.

Walters: Obama says that this demonization is working for the Repubs:

WHEN REALLY REPUBS HAVE CONNECTED WITH THE AMERICAN PEOPLE THAT OBAMA TALKS OUT BOTH SIDES OF HIS MOUTH:

Scott Brown: says that he can't speak for the Dems, but that he's a fiscal conservative. He laughs when he hears people saying Brown 2012, but he disagrees with Obama, and that he's disappointed in Obama, so he ran for Senate.

In short, why can't Obama just admit:

Walters: asks Brown about Palin in her role in the Republican Party.

Scott Brown: says that she's got some experience as Mayor/Governor, but that she's never contacted him.

Walters: says that MA Repubs want to overturn Roe vs. Wade and the pro-choice agenda while also overturning Sec. 8 and gay marriage.

Scott Brown: Repubs want to do more than just decrease abortions. Doesn't tell what he thinks on gay marriage.

Walters: With the party, would you then consider yourself more of a moderate or a conservative?

Scott Brown: says that he's accountable and accessible, and that he wants to bring good governing back into the equation, as a SCOTT BROWN REPUBLICAN.

Walters: asks Brown, did Obama acknowledge in the State of the Union that he got the message of your campaign?

Scott Brown: says that on some issues yes, but that we have to be bold on cutting spending and decreasing taxation. He goes on to say that he disagrees with Obama's economic freeze being postponed to 2011, that cuts shouldn't wait until then, that there should be a federal hiring freeze and a salary freeze, as they make twice as much as other government employees. He agrees on the small business tax credits.

Walters: asks why Brown doesn't support Public Option, if it will provide insurance to 31 million uninsured.

Scott Brown: says that MA still has a free-market system, without the one-size-fits-all government plan.

Walters: So the whole health care plan should be scrapped?!

Scott Brown: says yes, as it was on it's last leg before I was even elected and that MA and other states do not want the federal government in their business, or if they already have health care, they don't want the federal government dictating the insurance plan that they already have, messing that up too!

Walters: on the financial crisis?

Scott Brown: he says that he would support Bernanke, but with that said, this is Obama's staff so it's Obama's decision whether or not to keep them.

Walters: brings up the pro-homosexuality issues again, cornering Brown about "Don't ask, Don't tell", saying that he really didn't answer her earlier.

Scott Brown: the mission is first, finishing the job, repealing "Don't ask, Don't tell" would effect the social order of the military. Brown says that he will have to talk to the General and go with what they say about it.
(What's next? Stamping HOMO on the dog tags instead of Baptist or Protestant?!)
Walters: has Obama made the country more safe?

Scott Brown: It's not about who did a better job, Bush Jr. or Obama, it's about being a leader and delegating responsibilities, it's not all Obama's fault as all of it is not just his job.

(Bush Jr. = 1 in 8yrs. while Obama = 3 in less than one year... I think Brown was just being nice! Something tells me the main difference between the two has been their stance on dealing with terrorists. Bush Jr. used enhanced interrogation techniques which have proven to make us safer, and Obama wants to extend the rights we have as U.S. citizens to those who want to kill us. That's not rocket science; this attitude of terrorism becoming downgraded to just a criminal matter have produced 3 times the attacks in 1/8 of the time. When detainees at Guantanamo get better treatment than inmates at the Harold Banke Justice Complex in Clayton Co., GA, it's not hard to understand why we keep having terror attacks that have become more brazen, in spite of Iraq and now our presence in Afghanistan. I can't say it enough...)

Walters: says that she notices the anger and sees the conflicts of the American people, and she worries that this will hold back progress.

VS.

Scott Brown: thinks because of his election, that things aren't as bad as they are above, because he senses new openness and cooperation, like this:
or this

Scott Brown: says that he wants to be on the front line.

Walters: so #41 has been a great # for you then?

Scott Brown: says that for the country yes, and that he's personally invigorated by the cause of the common man/middle class.

Walters: asks if Kennedy would be disappointed??

Scott Brown: says that he leaves this seat to the fond memory that he has for him.

Walters: digs into Brown's difficult childhood.

Scott Brown: says that he always defended his mother and that he learned from his parents' mistakes.

Walters: asks if his life is still a reward from Heaven?

Scott Brown: says that yes, he believes in God, and he certainly feels like even though that life can at times be difficult, this still doesn't change what he feels about God.

Walters: shows Brown's cosmo spoof when he was 22.

Brown: says that it was "COSMO" NOT "PLAY GIRL!", and he goes on to say that he just happened to be the only "non-famous" person to pose before the public even knowing who he was.

Walters: asks if there's a double standard on women who pose nude?

Brown: says that he's not perfect, that he hopes that there's not a double standard, as many people do things when they're younger that they have in their past, so as long as they can do their job, there shouldn't be any problems.

Walters: brings up Brown's daughter on American Idol in 2006, citing that her performance was robotic and empty....

Brown: says that there's life after "American Idol" and that he respects Cowell's critique, and he hopes that Cowell will give her another chance now.

Walters: what about getting a new truck??

Brown: says that he's going to use it as long as possible, he's going to park it in WA, and that he never knew his truck would become a symbol of freedom....

BARBARA WALTERS HOSTS "ABC'S ROUND TABLE" WITH GEORGE, ARIANNA, PAUL, AND ROGER
ON SCOTT BROWN'S WIN, AND ON SCOTT BROWN IN GENERAL (no one looks happy to be there at all):
Roger: says that he'd have done "Cosmo" for less, $100 then if they'd have let him...
(I'm glad that Roger has a sense of humor, I can't say the same for Arianna!)

Will: says that Scott Brown is only 1% of 1/2 of our government, where 80% of work is done by 20% of senior Senators, extortioners or executioners.
(or something like that, in reference to Brown's power to filibuster the Senate version of Public Option bills. I like George Will most of time, but he really is a hater sometimes! You know, I never hear Will have this equal bias against Obama to this degree, only the one thing that he's said is that Obama's economic policy is about as effective as taking water out of the deep end of the pool and pouring it back into the shallow end, thinking that Obama's making a dent into unemployment.)

and

Paul: the House has passed a health care bill, a climate bill, and a financial bill/with 60 votes it goes back to the Senate.

(Paul is still suffering from the denial of Scott Brown's victory)

Arianna: acknowledges that the Scott Brown win is symbolic, the importance of his election, and that it's fascinating to see the distrust of government. She says that Brown capitalized on this "deficit of distrust"....

(I don't quite get why it's so fascinating, like this unbelievable phenomenon that Obama is actually trustworthy or something!!)

Paul: voters haven't caught onto the fact that when they vote, that they're not voting for an individual, but that there's a "D" and "R" after their name.

(I guess it's just as hard to buy Paul Krugman's book when he comes across as such a supersonic jerk who thinks Americans are too uneducated to know what that means. He'll really trip out when they start putting "T" for Tea Party or "NON-AFFILIATED". That may very well put him out of the political sphere altogether. Let's face it, he'd have less Democrats to laud and less Repubs to criticize and he wouldn't sell any books to the Tea Party or to people who are tired of politics as usual! I hardly see him as such a vocal Obama supporter being able to sell a book with this cover....)
Roger: says that people misinterpret things. Like Obama thought it was all about his radicalism, when really people were just sick of seeing Bush Jr. on tv, which is something that merely "softens up the beach" as time goes on. So let's just see what Obama does!

(The wear and tear of on George Bush Jr. has occurred in just 1 yr. on Obama instead of 7yrs., and I'm so sick of Obama I didn't even watch the State of the Union Address!)
(Maybe I just could never envision the likes of someone like Obama being in office, as if you think he's getting skinny, then you forgot what he looked like before...)

Will: redeems himself and goes after Paul's denial of the death of health care. Will explains that just because there was a 60 vote majority, that the Senate bill is different from the House version. The Senate process slows down the House, but we have more to fear from government haste and waste than Senate 'tardiness'.
(CLIPS OF OBAMA WHINING ALL LAST WEEK TO EVERYONE.... )

(AFTER COMING BACK FROM THE BREAK THEY ALL FINALLY LOOK A LITTLE HAPPIER TO BE ON THE SHOW)

Roger: says that there was some tromping on the Constitution by Obama and the White House, but he and Obama are on 'talking terms'. They have their differences, but even though the White House Communicator Anita Dunn said that "FOX NEWS" wasn't 'real news', he hasn't refused to talk to Obama.

(It's not coincidence that Anita Dunn resigned the same day as the Fort Hood Memorial Ceremony, for a conflict of interest of her husband's law firm receiving $1.7 million to defend Obama's birth certificate issues, and that's a lot of money for someone to spend just to try to keep the court from subpoenaing him to produce his long form birth certificate!!)

Arianna: corners Roger about Beck, saying that Beck is using paranoia to rev people up....

Roger: says that he thinks that Beck is accurate, that he did say something on live tv and quickly apologized, but that this happens with live tv. Roger says that he wasn't going to bring it up, but Arianna calls him a fat-headed fist in her blog, and so for all practical purposes Beck is doing his job.

Arianna: says that Beck's paranoid style is dangerous and that words matter.

Roger: says that if that were so, then why did you call me a malignant tumor in your blog? He wasn't going to bring it up until Arianna brings up Beck's word usage, and Roger says that Arianna should not play KGB WORD POLICE, or anyone else try to police free speech, and as far as Beck is concerned, Roger says that he thinks Beck speaks English!
(Roger totally got down on Arianna, and I think even though Arianna has some good points, that they should call it "THE HUFFY POST" - not "The Huffington Post", as Arianna is certainly huffy!)

Arianna: still doesn't let it go. She says that the media is to blame for America's discontent.

(I think it's quite simpler than that, actually, it's called UNEMPLOYMENT! She still has a job and someone pays her to run her huffy mouth!! Most people have to sneak around work to send any political emails, hop on their blackberry to read their Facebook during boring meetings at work just to catch up on any political stuff, or talk about my newsletter around the water cooler, and then clam up when their boss walks around the corner. I don't know who made her the ONLY spokesperson for the common working American!!)

WE KNOW THIS ISN'T GOING TO GET ANY BETTER UNTIL OBAMA'S GONE, AND THAT THIS WILL HAPPEN FASTER THE SOONER THEY REMOVE HIM FOR NOT BEING A CITIZEN ANYWAY!!!!

WILL: says that Americans don't really think about what the media says, or the ROUND TABLE specifically, nor do they internalize Obama's deficit of distrust, giving it that much attention because they're too busy working afraid that they too will lose their jobs. Nor do they readily see that Obama's picked a fight with the highest Court in the land, flagrantly disrespecting their authority. Americans don't figure out Obama's FREEZE isn't really a freeze, when it's only 1/6 of the economy, and that his trade agreement with Columbia is that he's not doing anything to pass it. All they know is that the results of his actions up to the State of the Union address are actually what have bred their distrust.

Paul: yes the press is using some nasty language, pigeonholes Beck, and because of that the public is missing what they really need to know, getting focused on health care with tunnel vision, being victims of misinformation, rather than hearing what's in all of the bills.

Roger: AMERICANS DIDN'T NEED 2,000 PGS. AND LAWYERS TO HIDE THINGS FROM THEM EITHER !!

Paul: Mitt Romney's plan is what it actually is and people are led to believe that it's Socialism.

Arianna: There have been multiple plans, and the words made by different commentators do count!

Roger: says that you don't disrupt the health care that's already working for the rest of Americans, you focus your energy on providing an insurance program just to the 31 million insured; you don't upset the apple cart just to bite off more than you can chew!!

Walters: asks again, is health care dead? (She beats the dead horse here, as Public Option without revision is dead and starting to stink!!)

WHY WOULD WE WANT THIS?? Public Option bills will kill black people: how can you support that?

WILL: says that in none of Obama's speeches are we hearing health care being focused on right now.

Paul: the MA election was totally disheartening for an entire week after the Scott Brown win, so much so, that the legislative process at this point is possible, but health care isn't likely anymore.

Arianna: says that they have to follow Harkin on it. They may say JOBS, JOBS, JOBS, but that's a 90's cliche that won't work with little economic plans here and there, when no one is focusing on the crises in the middle class, the plight of the middle class - that all this has caused them. This Administration isn't seriously addressing it.

Roger: says that Obama's in a tough spot. He's likable, but his ideas on radical change aren't widely accepted. He needs to listen to what Americans are saying, then get by himself. He must use his power to persuade the people, and that Obama putting this radical change agenda on people isn't what's going to sell his policies. Obama can't do this in back room deals with political consultants, or he's nothing that he says he is.

Arianna: agrees, says that this is the same game with the same people!

Paul: says that Geithner and Obama are soul mates.

(Paul writes a political romance novel, and I thought I was going to gag when he says that they're soul mates!!)

Arianna: calls Paul out on this saying that Obama is acting like just another phony deficit peacock, saying that this is exactly what's breeding this cynicism.

WILL: says that we'd do well to learn of the 1937 Depression within a Recession, and that Congress won't even say the S-WORD (stimulus).

Paul: Obama's Admin. can't do too much to fix this anyway.

(THE ENTIRE ROUND TABLE UNCOMFORTABLY GLARES AT HIM.)

Roger: answers appropriately with the fact that our national security/safety should be first, then jobs. He says: first it was shoes being required to be removed at airports, and now it will be UNDERPANTS!! He says that because of Obama's policies of extending diplomacy to terrorists that we've cut off the hands of the C.I.A., and that we know who's doing this stuff, and we know that Americans feel this and worry about it!

Walters: asks everyone on their take of the State of the Union address.

Will: says that it really doesn't mean much, there's a captive audience and they're unmoved by what Obama says.

Paul: says that it should've been different, but that Repubs are the ones of the Party with **NO IDEAS** !!

(omG, remind me to PUNK Paul next... he's getting on my last nerve! I have submitted revisions to H.R. 3200,1200, AND 3590 OVER THE PAST 3 MONTHS, AND I'M STILL REVISING THEM. I brought them to the Repubs first, as the Dems didn't even want to be bipartisan and negotiate!! Remember Pelosi: "WE WON, SO WE'RE WRITING THE BILLS!", and after I presented them to my Social Networking friends and email subscribers about these revisions, 2,000 people or more have been supporting the revision process directly, as they don't want Public Option as written, and they've supported this. These 2,000 have spread my newsletters and revisions to everyone else they know. I didn't even campaign on behalf of Scott Brown. I simply posted a link to "The Synthesis" and 5,000 of his supporters jumped on it like they were starved for true journalism!! I'll send Paul a copy with a big 'YOU'VE BEEN PUNK'D' at the top!!)

Roger: says that there are ways to do things!!

Arianna: says that we're wasting time getting Repubs to agree!

Roger: says are we evolving or are we devolving into cavemen??

Walters: asks everyone about Palin as the 2012 candidate.

Will: says that maybe everyone hates her because she's the only one selling more books than they are, as hers sold 2 million in 2 weeks!

(I would have to object. Most Conservative books sell at FULL PRICE until it's not on the best seller list. Palin's book wasn't selling AT ALL full price even in the first week, so she knocked it down to $5. Sarah's only made about $10 billion, so other writers whose books are $20 each would only have to sell 500,000 copies to tie her, and then easily surpass her!!)

Roger: says that "FOX News" is fair and balanced, that having Palin on is no different than having Geraldine Ferraro on. Roger says that he's not into politics, he's a producer, so he's into ratings!!

Arianna: asks if it is, then why did they move away from certain health care broadcasts??

Roger: says that's because they're the most trusted news source, not the most biased, so they declined airing those particular health care things.

Walters: disagrees, and she says that ABC is!!
(But it's merely because for the first time in 10yrs. they shored up Chris Matthew's show, and because they happen to be a personal favorite of mine for Diane Sawyer and the whole "ABC NIGHTLINE" BERNIE AWARDS -- lol.)
